The Wild Washoe Wilderness campaign is your opportunity to permanently safeguard large tracts of wild lands and thereby gain long term protection for sagebrush ecosystems across the region.

Washoe County is rich with incredible open spaces that offer Northern Nevadans places for outdoor recreation, solitude, and adventure. With the demanding pressures of population growth and development, now is the time for a comprehensive lands bill that can help our community sustain our quality of life, increase recreational opportunities, protect and expand our parks, open space, and wilderness and promote economic opportunities.
